It is kind of a bummer that they only bring us on TV when we take horrific, multi-thousand foot falls in dangerous, remote mountains, but we’ll take it!
It’s so funny to see how these professional talk show hosts simply cannot relate to skiers. They think we’re crazy. They are very risk averse people whereas skiers are quite the opposite creating a disconnect that you can really feel in this interview and most all network interviews with freeskiers.
Angel Collinson, potentially the best female freeskier right now (all time?) took a nasty fall in Alaska of about 1,000-feet. People like to watch people fall. It’s a fact of life.
What they should show is Angel’s mind-bendingly-awesome Alaska segment form this year. No worries we’ve got your back.
Oh, and she won “Best Line of the Year” at the Powder Awards this year – the first female to ever win that prize.
