First Snow of the Season Falls in Colorado
It’s happening! Colorado mountains received a dusting of snow yesterday for the first time this season.
The snow fell on the peaks near Alma in the Mosquito Range.
It might only be a dusting, which melted by the afternoon, but it snowed. And that’s what matters.

The NOAA released its seasonal outlooks late last week, including December, January, and February 2022-23. It’s looking warmer and dryer than normal for most of the country, the exception being the PNW and Alaska, where they’re forecasting colder and wetter.
