[TRAILER] Clean Slate: Chasing Pow and New Lines from Wyoming to Alaska with Teton Brown

Hey ski bums, Clean Slate is my latest project with Zag Skis, a short film capturing last season’s hunt for gnarly zones and fresh pow in Western Wyoming and Alaska’s Chugach Mountains. Most of the winter was spent ripping around Wyoming on my sled, scoping out new zones and dropping in on steep, technical terrain. Conditions were tough overall for filming with lots of warm days and not a ton of sunshine, but we still scored some rad shots for a solid Jackson segment.

Then came Alaska. Mid-April, I set up camp on Thompson Pass with some buddies, planning a quick 10-day trip to wrap the film. Plans changed—three weeks later, we’d nabbed four unreal days of skiing. Those days were straight-up some of the best I’ve ever had, with deep snow and steep lines that made for killer footage.

The vibe of Clean Slate is all about starting fresh—new season, new zones, new perspective. It’s how I approach skiing, always chasing that clean canvas of snow. The film’s currently premiering in Western U.S. ski towns, Alaska’s Northern Aspects Film Tour, and Zag Skis’ screenings in France and Belgium. Check it out at a premier near you, or watch online in early November!

Cheers,
-Teton Brown
