Southeast Couloir of the South Teton

words and video by Dorian Densmore

(editor’s note:  this trip to the South Teton occurred on April 29th, 2014)

Upon entering the park [Grand Teton National Park], we found great snow conditions, and were anticipating deep pow skiing, which is like pretty much the best this time of year around here.

The video does not do everything justice, as the real accomplishment this day was our friend Baker, who amazingly was boarding with one of the most intense mullet haircuts I’ve ever seen.

Myself, Henry, and Baker all agreed it was one of the most fun ski lines we had skied before, dropping into Avalanche canyon on “one of the steepest lines in the Teton range”, supposedly “nearing 60 degrees”.
