The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Storm Watches for Colorado. A spring storm system is expected to stick around through Tuesday afternoon and then more unsettled arrives throughout the week.

EVENING TO 9 PM MDT TUESDAY ABOVE 9000 FEET...

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Taylor Park, Trappers Lake and many high
  elevation mountain passes including Rabbit Ears Pass, Vail Pass,
  McClure Pass and Independence Pass.

* TIMING...Late this evening through Tuesday evening. Heaviest
  during the overnight hours tonight.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...The moderate to locally heavy snow will make travel
  difficult across many mountain passes.
