The UAC will continue to publish daily avalanche forecasts. Most resorts are closed and it’s YOUR responsibility to know what their uphill policy is. With stormy weather moving into Utah over the next couple days expect increasing avalanche danger and more people in the backcountry. Keep and eye on each other and share information. Remember to practice #socialdistancing and safe travel protocols. There is still a lot of winter left and we all need an outlet right now. #utavy
With every resort in Utah now closed for the 2019-20 winter season, we must turn to the backcountry. However, with more people now entering into the backcountry comes much more added risk. That’s why the Utah Avalanche Center has announced that they will continue making avalanche forecasts for next few weeks while Utah ski areas remain closed. A big thank you goes out to the UAC and their forecasters on the behalf of SnowBrains team and all Utah skiers referencing the daily avalanche forecasts.
