Nearly the entire state of Utah is covered in snow right now. Basically, the 4 corners region of Utah and the Salt Lake itself are the only regions that are snow free right now.
It’s been a decent early season in Utah this year. The reason that Utah is covered in snow isn’t due to large snowfall amounts, it’s really been about the cold. The last storm to come through was damn cold and that cold storm left snow on top of nearly every square inch of Utah.
In some regions of the Uintas and Wasatch, snowpack was actually deeper last year. But there is no arguing that the snow cover in Utah right now is exceptional.
Check out California’s snow coverage right now. It’s impressive as well.
