A mansion in Vail, CO, is trying to sell for $33-million. Well, $32,950,000 to be exact. Though none the less making it the third most expensive home for sale in Vail.

The most expensive mansion for sale at $45 million is a contemporary build. Focusing on glass walls to open the space even in the garage. The second most expensive and largest mansion of the three comes in at $40 million. With a lodge build that boasts a slew of amenities that us plebs dream about. Leaving the third most expensive mansion at $33 million, offering the alpine chalet experience with huge spaces and exposed beams. Arguably beating out the first two with its location right next to the slopes.

Being the third most expensive mansion, the location gives this home an edge. Being only 1 of 16  homes with exclusive ski-in ski-out access. Also offering seven bedrooms, fourteen bathrooms, and a short walk to village amenities.

The agent spoke with Mansion Global:

Inside, the great room, featuring a stone-enclosed fireplace, wet bar, dining area and views of Gore Creek and the resort, is an “awesome place for families to hang out,” Mr. Stockton noted. But people can also meet in the media room, game room or outside in the hot tub or by the fire pit.

There’s also a “knock-your-socks-off” ski room with a fireplace where skiers and snowboarders can get ready and eventually store all their gear, according to the agent.

Now selling for nearly $33 million in 2021. When it sold for $12.75 million in 2008 will provide a nice return for the owners.
