As anticipation builds for the 2025 winter season in the Southern Hemisphere, Valle Nevado and La Parva, two of the Andesโ€™ most iconic ski destinations, have announced over $4 million in capital improvements and upgrades to enhance the guest experience. Both resorts are investing in lift modernization, expanded snowmaking and terrain offerings, hotel renovations, and new amenities that reflect a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and the evolving expectations of todayโ€™s skier.

Lift Modernization, Snowmaking Improvements, and Expanded Learning Terrain

Valle Nevadoโ€™s primary chairliftsโ€”Andes Express, Mirador, and Gondolaโ€”are undergoing significant upgrades to enhance reliability and operational efficiency throughout the season. Valle Nevado is also expanding its dedicated learning terrain in the Hotel School zone, improving the experience for beginners and ski school guests.

At La Parva, improvements to the Alpha, รguilas, and Fabres chairlifts will increase dependability and ensure more consistent operations across key areas of the mountain. In addition, La Parva is investing in expanded snowmaking coverage, enabling top-to-bottom skiing on the Alpha chairlift, enhancing early- and late-season conditions at a key access zone for La Parvaโ€™s terrain.

Elevated Culinary Experiences

Valleโ€™s on-mountain dining scene continues to expand with the addition of a second food truck at Cima Ancla, complementing the popular stop at Cima Mirador. Positioned at nearly 12,000 feet above sea level, the new location will be the highest-altitude culinary experience in the Andes, offering guests quick, elevated fare between runs. Meanwhile, La Fourchette, Valleโ€™s acclaimed French restaurant, has received improvements, including enhanced lighting, a refreshed bar area, and new flooring, further elevating its elegant alpine atmosphere.

La Parva is introducing a new culinary experience by opening a bistro at Alpha Base. This welcoming, all-day destination blends traditional French cuisine with the warmth of a cozy mountain setting. Designed for families and alpine enthusiasts alike, the Bistro will serve fresh pastries worthy of a French boulangerie each morning, including baguettes, croissants, and pain au chocolat. Midday menus will feature comforting classics like French onion soup, artisanal pizzas, and savory sandwiches. At the same time, the aprรจs-ski crowd can unwind with hearty alpine favorites and an inviting ambiance that captures the essence of mountain dining at every hour.

Hotel Renovations and Guest Service Enhancements

Valle Nevado is continuing multi-year upgrades across its hotel portfolio:

  • Hotel Puerta del Sol has renovated hallways and guest rooms, including new flooring, wall finishes, and lighting, following last yearโ€™s new bedding and television updates.
  • Hotel Valle Nevado is undergoing improvements to common areas, including the lobby, bars, and fitness center, where new, state-of-the-art equipment is installed.

Valle Nevado is also adding a new Rental Domo, conveniently located on the hotel platform, to serve condo guests and day visitors. This will ease traffic at the main rental shop to support growing visitation. A new Guest Experience Team will also debut this season, providing dedicated support and resort guidance from the momentย guests arrive.

La Parva is also elevating the guest experience with new retail and rental offerings for the upcoming season. A new La Parva Store in the Parva Chica area will feature branded apparel and merchandise, giving guests more ways to connect with the resort and take home a piece of the mountain. A newly expanded rental shop at the Alpha base will improve convenience and streamline the gear pickup process, especially for first-time visitors and families. These additions are designed to make arrival day smoother and mountain time more memorable.
