South America has finally gotten the memo: skiers and riders want to see what is actually going on at your ski resorts. Las Leñas and Valle Nevado are putting out conditions report videos every two weeks or so, which is incredible compared to how South American ski resorts used to operate.
It used to be that you literally couldn’t find any information about anything happening during the ski season down there. Catedral has been stepping it up with photos of the mountain every couple weeks.
SnowBrains.com will have reporters at both Las Leñas & Catedral starting in late July once the snow fills in a touch more. We’re confident that we’ll be providing some of the higher quality conditions reports from those areas this season.
In this video it looks like Valle Nevado is filling in nicely. There was certainly some fresh snow last week (video is from 6 days ago) and hopefully more will fall before the season really gets under way in the coming weeks.
