Valle Nevado has boosted their opening date to June 8th. Most South America ski resorts don’t open up until July or even mid-July. June 8th if a very early opening.
Valle Nevado has received over 2 feet of snow this season and they got a foot over the weekend.
It’s spectacular that you can still be skiing in North America right now at ski resorts, then hop on a plane and start skiing in South American ski resort with no down time. This is lining up to be a good year of skiing and riding in the Americas.
