VIDEO: 42-Seconds of Horribly Deep Snow in Japan Today

I arrived in Japan two days ago.  It’s been nuking snow, as per usual.  Actually, it’s been a bit unusual.  Japan just had a wild December with more snow than they’ve had in that month for over 10 years.

There is more snow on the ground than there ever was at any point last season.  The high snow levels are translating to big pillows, groovy spines, buried bushes, and better skiing.  It takes a lot of snow to tame the jungles of Japan and this season snow is most certainly the king of the jungle.

This video is from today – the last day of 2014 – December 31st, 2014 – New Years Eve 2014.  It’s been snowing like crazy since I arrived.  It snowed about 50cms during the day yesterday.  It snowed more overnight.  There was a brief break during the day today before it really turned on full-bore again.  It’s absolutely nuking this evening.

Happy New Years from all of us here at SnowBrains.com.  May your new year be full of deep snow.
