VIDEO: 6-Month-Old Girl Shatters A World Record On Water Skis

Chris Wallner |

When most people think about a 6-month-old child, a baby that can’t walk comes to mind, but not this time. On May 19th, Zyla St. Onge, a 6-month-old girl, water skied 686 feet across Lake Silver, her father said. Standing 30 inches tall and weighing 20 pounds, Zyla isn’t even walking yet, but she has spent plenty of time in the water. She first got the feel for water skiing on cushy beige carpet, but soon after she took it to the water and did insanely well. She stood on two planks bolted together for safety, had a pink life jacket, and held onto the bar for as long as she could! Check this video out!

“I’d say that’s pretty much the youngest water skier in the world, hands down,” father Keith St. Onge said.
