Aleksei Retivykh is on the rescue crew at the Kazakh ski resort Chimbulak, near Almaty and he performs all the normal ski patrol tasks with only one leg! At the age of 11, Aleksei lost a leg due to a severe electrical shock, but he found the strength to become an expert skier after that. His persistence and joyous personality on the mountain has inspired local skiers to raise money for Aleksei to get surgery and an artificial limb. This story is truly motivational and it is totally worth the watch!
