Yesterday, local legend Andy Hays hit the “Chimney Sweep” in The Palisades at Squaw Valley, CA.

This was the first and only time it’s been open all season.

It was the gnarliest we’ve ever heard of:  a huge cornice drop into an icy chute to a high speed 50′ air to a ridiculously firm landing.

Very few people on Earth would have dropped into this thing in this state and even less would have pulled it off.

Very impressive Andy, very impressive…
