Jeremy Jones, “To me, all these sports are a tool to connect with nature, learn about yourself, challenge yourself mentally and physically….and where you stack up on the ability level is kind of irrelevant.”

Multi-sport days always provide a sense of accomplishment and adventure, and these guys (and girl) take it to the extreme.  Their day starts with sunrise on top of Donner Peak (or one nearby) for some backcountry skiing, then to a crag in the Sierras for a bit of rock climbing, next to Mt. Tam for some mountain biking, and then finally end the day with a sunset while surfing somewhere off the beautiful California coast.  California is one of the few, magical places that offers such a broad variety of activities within a short enough proximity to, for example, ski and surf in one day- but the fact that you can mountain bike and climb during the same daylight hours is a bit bonkers.

This clip is a good reminder to get out of our comfort zones and do things that we don’t often do.  It’s nice to see some variety in the activities that professional athletes partake in; and simply should be a reminder that we should switch it up every now and then too!

As Matt Hunter says, “Everyone’s got a bunch of sports they love to do. Go do them! Fit it all in one day, think about all your favorite places to do it and just get out and go do it!”
