Most people enjoyed the casual groomers, beers, bands, and sun of Alpine Meadow’s closing weekend. And why not? It was the perfect weekend for that type of gluttonous behavior. It’s what we did.
Some didn’t see it that way. Some saw is as their last chance to hike, ski hard, and jump off rocks. Little did us commoners know, it was a great weekend for this type of charging behavior as well.
Skier 666 saw it this way and was even able to get a little park time in. Check out his video version of what went down on Alpine Meadow’s closing day.
“Well, this is it…the last day to ride a lift in Tahoe AND SKI DOWN. Alpine Meadows was the venue and it sure did not disappoint. It was an absolute gorgeous day of skiing in a partying atmosphere along with perfect Spring conditions to boot. Laps in Estelle Bowl, Keyhole, Nun’s, Sherwood Cliifs, Marhankan’s, etc were all more than entertaining. It may just have been the most fun I had all season.” – Skier 666
