Jackson, Wyoming

Warm temperatures are impacting the area, with a rain-snow mix in town. However, higher elevations at Jackson Hole are colder, with 9 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours, making for good skiing mid-mountain and higher.

Pacific Northwest

A new storm system brings moisture to Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northwest Montana, and British Columbia. Expect snow today and tomorrow before drying up on Wednesday.

Alta, Utah

It’s warm in the Wasatch, with high pressure pumping in warm air. Only a small amount of warm snow accumulation is expected.

Northeast

A series of Alberta Clippers are on the way. The first will largely miss Vermont and New Hampshire, but a following low-pressure system will bring a better chance of snow tomorrow; expect 6-10 inches of accumulation for Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Colorado

Colorado is experiencing a warm pattern with light snowfall. The next storm system arrives March 2-5, but it also looks warm. An avalanche near Grand Lake over the weekend highlightedย the unstable snowpack.

Looking Ahead

Best chances for snow include Big Sky, the Wasatch, Tetons, Colorado, interior BC, the Pacific Northwest, Tahoe, and the Northeast. The Pacific Northwest and Northern Tier are expected to have the most consistent snowfall in the coming days.
