Overview
This weather update highlights significant snowfall across the western US, making for excellent conditions in many ski areas. Expect lingering snow in some areas, followed by a more substantial storm system.
Specific Locations
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is experiencing incredible powder conditions with substantial recent snowfall. Loveland Ski Area in Colorado and Big Sky, Montana, are also reporting significant fresh snow.
Upcoming Storms
A new storm system is approaching the Pacific Northwest and is expected to move inland, impacting several regions. Utah, the Tetons, Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming are all in line for more snow.
Regional Breakdown
The Wasatch Range is expecting additional snow, with the best chances around February 19-20. Interior British Columbia is forecast to receive particularly heavy snowfall between February 22-24.
Northeast Update
The Northeast is expected to see only light accumulation. A storm system is predicted to stay largely to the south, resulting in minimal impact for Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
