Avalanche
These Colorado skiers got extremely lucky after they nearly avoided a massive avalanche and rock slide. The snow was firm corn, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an avalanche risk. It all started with a rock pile the size of a car. We are thankful that these guys walked away from this scary slide, but make sure to know before you go into the backcountry.
“A near miss on the Naked Lady Coulior just a couple of days ago. A good reason to wear helmets!” stated the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
