Hard to say what’s crazier: this line, or professional skier and Volkl skis athlete Colter Hinchliffe? Regardless, this line is as beautiful as it is gnarly and Hinchliffe has been eyeing for a long time. After slaying it, he posted on Instagram:
“Been looking up at this techy line from downtown Aspen for way too long.. so stoked to finally get on it! Conditions where good but my fear of dry docking, falling, and getting sloughed into the gully was a real concern and had my nerves rattling! @noahmfranklin was in a great spot for safety and able to capture this awesome drone shot! 🙏🏽🤘🏼”
Fortunately, the stars aligned and stable snow conditions allowed Hinchliffe to slay this technical yet gorgeous spine-pillow line just outside of Aspen, CO.Â
