Ed Sheeran’s new music video for the song Perfect shows that with a sick day on the hill licking chairlifts, torchlight night skiing with shot ski Apres and a cozy cabin in the woods is all you need to get the girl. Writing a song for said girl and playing it for after Apres in the cozy cabin is probably what sealed the deal though.
The video was filmed at the Hintertux Glacier in Austria, a gorgeous resort south east of Innsbruck in the state of Tyrol, in the Austrian Central Alps. The Resort is usually open year round for skiing.
The Ski Cinematography was done by Action Sports Filmer, Corey Koniniec. Koniniec founded Motion State, an action filming company with his friends, who just finished up a shoot with Olympic Freestyle Skier Gus Kenworthy at the Matterhorn.
