Fishermen in Canada recently happened upon an incredible sight: an octopus and a bald eagle locked in combat. It happened in British Columbia, northwest of Vancouver Island.
The astounded anglers used a pole to reach the pair. Then they separated the feuding creatures. The fishing company thinks the eagle tried to bite off a little more than it could chew.
Fortunately, both creatures seemed to be OK after the altercation.
