A man has been charged with assault after a video of him physically attacking another man on a chairlift went viral. The video, posted to TikTok, has had almost 10 million views.

Carlos Lamar Dinkins, 39, from Florida, has been charged with assault for the incident that took place on December 26 at Park City Mountain Resort, UT. The incident occurred between two men. A 52-year-old man allegedly elbowed Dinkins in the face, who then punched the older man multiple times.

Dinkins faces a class B misdemeanor charge for assault and a class C misdemeanor charge for disorderly contact, according to charges filed in Summit County Justice Court last week. A class B misdemeanor can carry a fine of up to $1,000 and 6 months in jail; a class C misdemeanor charge can carry a fine of up to $750 and 90 days locked up.

In a statement, Sara Huey, Senior Manager of Communications for Park City Mountain Resort, said, “safety is our highest priority, and we do not condone violence of any kind at Park City Mountain,” reports Townlift.
