VIDEO: Harrowing First Person Account of Getting Caught & Buried in an Avalanche for 15-Minutes

This was the first thing I watched this morning.

It captured me.

This feels so real.  Hearing the snow, hearing him breathe, seeing the 2nd snow wave bury him, hearing his account of the entire ordeal.

A couple of lessons in here:

• Always go one at a time
• Never wear pole straps in the backcountry
