Preparing the snow to melt but why? How quickly will snow melt at the end of winter?
Most people who visit ski areas on holiday never get to see what happens after they leave. One of the things that happen is the snow is prepared to melt. Plowing the snow makes it melt quicker and means the land can be handed back to the farmers for their cows as soon as possible without the danger of snow for the cows.
