VIDEO: Like DEEP Powder? Here’s Where to Ski Multiple FEET this President’s Weekend…

Here’s a weekly snow forecast by meteorologist Chris Tomer, which covers the upcoming holiday weekend.

A strong jet stream will push heavy snow into Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.

I don’t see much snow for California.

The prime snow accumulation window is Sunday and Monday (Presidents Day).

The Tetons, Wasatch, and Central and Northern Mountains of Colorado can expect 1-2 feet of total accumulation. A few heavier pockets are likely.

So here’s the perfect powder-filled holiday weekend, according to Chris Tomer. And if you have the Ikon Pass (without blackouts), this looks like a pretty awesome weekend trip!

  • Friday: Schweitzer, Whistler/Blackcomb or Banff
  • Saturday: Big Sky, Schweitzer, or Whistler/Blackcomb
  • Sunday: Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Alta, or Sun Valley
  • Monday: Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Steamboat, or Breckenridge
