Meteorologist Chris Tomer is calling for heavy snow in the west this weekend. 1-3 feet of snowfall is expected to fall in California through Friday night and then a second storm arrives Sunday dropping another 1-2 feet. Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee are in prime position this weekend with 1-3 feet of cold smoke powder falling. The Jet Stream is a little far north for huge snowfall to hit Utah and Colorado, but it will still be a good weekend there. The East will see 3 spirts of light snowfall, but no major snowfall accumulations.
