On Sunday, July 12, Chris Dens broke an odd world record. Dens set the record for the highest stilts while waterskiing. At a towering 11 feet tall, Dens just barely got the record from the previous holder, Glen Sperry, at 10 1/2 feet.

Dens progressively worked his way toward the record. The first iteration Dens made was 3 1/2 feet. Then he made a pair 6 1/2 feet high. Finally, he decided to go all the way to a record-setting 11 feet.
