The new Pallavicini lift at Arapahoe Basin, CO, opened to the public on December 20th. Following the original path taken from the old chair, the new Pallavicini lift offers a similar atmosphere with some improved technology. Hats off to Arapahoe Basin for keeping the lift as close to the old one as possible.
The Pallavicini Lift at Arapahoe Basin holds a special place in so many skiers and riders’ hearts. Over the years, it has garnered the nicknames of “The Center of The Universe” and “The Black Jewel.” The new chairlift sports a new green color, which will take some getting used to from the original jet black, but never the less the lift still accesses some of the best terrain in Colorado.
