Just listen to the sound on landing and his buddies moans…  What a brutal impact sound…

Somehow, @noah_sans_ark and Mr. Miller convinced me to drop into the heart today in spring mashed potatoes with a mandatory 40ish footer or something like that. How I was convinced?? I really don’t know.. but it turned out to be pretty fun. I’m not even bummed about falling.” – Powderlicious

Powderlicious dropped “The Heart Chute” at Kirkwood, CA yesterday in sticky wet, mashed potato snow.

This is one of the gnarliest lines at Kirkwood and it’s very intimidating to ski.  You have to drop a small, vertical cliff band to get in, make two turns, point it through a very narrow choke, and take an extremely blind, sizable air to a not so steep landing.

Early season, the Heart is ferocious and huge.  This year, it’s about as filled in as it gets and still rowdy.

Props to Powderlicious for hitting it and hitting it in such funky conditions.
