VIDEO: Santiago, Chile Just Saw Biggest Snowfall in 46 Years

Santiago, Chile just saw its biggest snowfall in 46 years this past weekend, according to Chile’s Meteorological Office.

Power outages, downed power lines, blocked road characterized the weekend in Santiago after 16″ of snow came down in the city.

Tens of thousands of people went without power over the weekend.

Local ski resorts saw big snow over the weekend.  See image below from yesterday at Valle Nevado, Chile.
