VIDEO: Skiing Powder in Austria on July 3rd, 2014

Austria just got a bit of a snowstorm this past week.  These photos are from Hintertuxer Gletcher ski resort in Austria on June 30th, 2014 and July 2nd, 2014.  Yeah, that’s a lot of snow for late June.

These guys in this video decided to get out there and take advantage of it.  They did well and got some fun shots.  Not bad skiing for July 3rd.

Europe has a handful of ski resorts that operate year round.  Even Verbier used to.  There is still some quality glacier skiing up high to be had in Europe during summer.  You might want to hurry and get up there and try it, though.  Europe is experiencing the most rapid glacial retreat of anywhere on Earth.
