Lake Tahoe, CA, had a wild season last year with ups and downs, highs and lows.
I only made it out to Tahoe twice for two big storm cycles: the end of January and early March.
Both storm cycles delivered and were dangerously fun.
I only spent 17-days in Tahoe in 2020/21 but got a lot of bang for my buck.
Squaw ended up with 300” of snowfall in 2020/21, which isn’t bad considering it was the driest water year on record for California.
I ended up crushing myself off Smooth Air twice in 4 days at Squaw/Palisades and had to take 10-days off due to a pissed-off knee.
Luckily, I was able to get back on snow and start skiing again by the end of March, just before heading up to Alaska for May.
Alaska will be our next highlight video later this week 🙂
