After receiving 728″ of snow last season, the ski patrol at Squaw Valley is thinking about the 2017/18 ski season. They have added a lot of new technology to keep guests safe, including a helicopter on stand-by to do avalanche control when the skies clear and the wind dies down. If you see them on the mountain, make sure to thank them for all that they do.
