Stowe Mountain Resort, VT had an incredible 2016-17 winter season. The resort received 375″ of snow, which was the most since the 2000-2001 season. The lifts spun for 152 days this year and every one of them was a good one. Stowe Snow Reporters Scott and Andre give you the lowdown on the 2016/17 winter season with some of their personal highlights thrown into the mix.

  1. Find this hard to believe. Perhaps they had a few good weekdays because I watched closely and saw little reason to drive up for the weekends. Even after the big storm Whiteface was only mediocre at best over the weekend. They couldn’t even get Lookout Mountain open. I see no reason to believe things were any better just over Lake Champlain in Vermont.
