VIDEO: Stowe/Mad River Glen, VT Season Edit 2016/17 | 50″ Storms Consistent Snow in Feb. & March

“Zack Berlan and Pascal Schmitt season edit. Locations are Stowe and Mad River Glen Vermont. Hands down the best season we’ve had yet, when it was good it was really good. 50 inch storms and constant snow from February-March, all an East Coast skier can ask for. The constant storm cycle gave us a chance to explore parts of Stowe that we thought would never be accessible.” – Zack Berlan

  1. Funny I don’t remember it being good during the 16/17 season in the northeast, maybe because I was looking for real bounce back from the shit show that was the 15/16 season and it never happened. The huge storm prior to Presidents weekend was a melted mess to enjoy with the crowds at Bretton Woods that Saturday.

The only way it’s good in the northeast is when the arctic jet stream gets stuck over New England, not letting temps to go above freezing for weeks at a time, while getting snow.

I’m fed up with northeast skiing. Rather get a great long Utah weekend and a week at Targhee than ski every crappy weekend in central New England.

Got an opinion? Let us know...
