There’s already 15+ FEET of snow on the ground in Alaska. Silverton Mountain Guides are taking full advantage of it. They opened up for season last week, which is quite early, considering that it’s still mid-October.

“Video from YESTERDAY Oct 22, 2017. Check out the current 15’+ deep base of snow already on the ground up high already this season (full depth probing in the vid). Silverton Mountain Guides opened for the season this past week and to say the conditions are all-time is not an exaggeration. Check the vid it’s hard to believe it’s October..” stated Silverton Mountain Guides on their Facebook page, yesterday.
