Kick off the winter season this weekend in downtown Reno, NV with “Face Of Winter” the 69th edition to the Warren Miller films. The film marks the first premiere since the Godfather of ski movies himself, Warren Miller, passed away earlier this year. Since his 1950 release of “Deep and Light” Miller’s movies have served as the traditional pre-season stoke for millions. Included with this years premiere is a coinciding ski expo and “2-for-1” vouchers to nearby Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows.
“Face of Winter” includes a star-studded cast featuring Marcus Caston, Jonny Moseley, Michael “Bird’ Shaffer, Jessica Diggin’s and more. Filming locations include Switzerland, British Columbia, Alaska, Chile, Iceland, and New Zealand.
