In an email to passholders, Colorado’s Winter Park Resort has announced that Sunday, May 18, will mark the final day of skiing and riding for the 2024-25 season at its iconic Mary Jane territory. The closing comes after a spring stretch defined by bluebird days, lively events, and a community of skiers and riders making the most of late-season snow.
While the main Winter Park side wrapped up operations on April 27, Mary Jane remained open “as late as possible,” a tradition that has come to define spring in the Fraser Valley. This yearโs closing date continues the trend of extending the Mary Jane season well into May, allowing guests an extra week to enjoy the mountainโs renowned terrain and laid-back atmosphere.
Before the lifts stop spinning, Winter Park Resort is inviting guests to soak up one last weekend of spring sunshine and mountain camaraderie. Jane Beach, located at the Mary Jane base, will be the center of the action, offering live music, giveaways, and $6 Mary Jane Ales for Winter Park and Ikon Pass holders. The festivities are designed to celebrate the close of another memorable season and thank the community that makes it all possible.
Throughout the final weekend, skiers and riders can expect the signature spring vibes that have become a hallmark of Mary Janeโs late-season operations. From relaxing on the sun-soaked deck to catching a set from a live DJ, the atmosphere promises to be as welcoming as ever. All events are weather-dependent and subject to change, but the resort is committed to delivering a fitting send-off for the 2024-25 season.
The resort saw 368″ of snow this season. If you already have next seasonโs Ikon Pass, you can use it for skiing at Winter Park this spring.
Winter Park Resort will resume operations for the 2025-26 season in November, with Mary Jane scheduled to open in December, conditions permitting.
