NOAA: Winter Storm Warning for California Today | 5-14″ of Snow Forecast

NOAA has issued another Winter Storm Warning for California today (there was one yesterday, too).ย  5-14″ of snowfall is forecast today and tomorrow in the Lake Tahoe region.ย  8-16″ of snowfall is forecast in the Yosemite/Mammoth region.ย  Snow levels will drop as low as 3,000-feet with this storm.

California ski resorts saw up to 23″ of snow in the past 48 hours.

Another storm from the Gulf of Alaska is forecast this weekend.
