A strong spring storm is expected to hit the west this week. Cold temperatures are expected to arrive along with it, which will turn rain into snow.

1-2+ FEET of snow is expected to fall in Nevada through Thursday.

Snow levels are expected to drop to or below 35oo feet in most areas, while the heaviest snow accumulations will occur over 6000ft.

Idaho: 8-12″ of Snow Through Wednesday Above 5000ft

* Snow accumulations: 4000 to 5000 feet: 4 to 8 inches. Above
  5000 feet (including Lolo & Lost Trail Pass): 8 to 12 inches
  with the highest peaks in the Bitterroot Mountains receiving
  up to 2 feet.
