Winter Weather Advisory Issued For MT | Up To 8″ of Snow Is Expected To Fall Throughout The Day Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montana. It is in effect from 6am Friday Morning through midnight Friday Night. A strong cold front is expected to move through, which will drop snow on the mountains and in the valleys.

Up To 8″ of snow is expected to fall Friday Morning – Friday Night.

Snow levels are expected to drop down to 300oft, which would allow for light accumulations in the Mountain Valleys.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
 including during the morning commute on Friday. Total snow
 accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with localized amounts up to 8
 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Northern Rocky Mountain Front.

* WHEN...6 AM Friday to midnight Friday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
 times.
