WinterWonderGrass Returns to Palisades Tahoe, CA, for 7th Annual Festival March 31 – April 2, 2023

WinterWonderGrass returns to Palisades Tahoe for its seventh annual festival this winter season from March 31 through April 2, 2023. Always a highly-anticipated event, WinterWonderGrass Tahoe features a full weekend of brews, mountain views, and music from fan-favorite bluegrass and Americana artists.

Featuring 25 bands across four stages, the 2023 lineup includes WinterWonderGrass veterans Trampled by Turtles and Greensky Bluegrass, as well as newcomers Marcus King, The Main Squeeze, and The Lone Bellow. The weekend rounds out with Molly Tuttle, Mapache, Neal Francis, Tray Wellington Band, Big Richard, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Lindsay Lou, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Cris Jacobs Band, the Brothers Comatose, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and more.

The festival, located in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, will include an outdoor main stage and three heated and covered side stages. This winter, 3-Day Pass holders will also enjoy a free Thursday Kickoff Show on March 30 and free on-mountain shows at Gold Coast from 12 – 2 PM on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2.

In addition to music, attendees can access an array of complimentary beer, whiskey, and spiked seltzer tastings each day from 3 – 5 PM. This year’s beverage sponsors include Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Spiked Snowmelt, Tincup Mountain Whiskey, La Grosse Distilling Co., and Castoro Cellars. The festival will also feature a lively kids zone, curated local food vendors, and sustainability education throughout, supporting local North Lake Tahoe non-profits with a focus on sustainable living. This year, WinterWonderGrass has partnered with Minimal Impact, Protect Our Winters, Tahoe Food Hub, and The Shane McConkey Foundation, among others.
