With two-feet of snow in the last two days, Wolf Creek ski area announced yesterday that they will open for the 20/21 season on Wednesday, becoming the first resort in Colorado to do so.

The powder is stacking up, 22” and still counting! Three lifts start turning this Wednesday, October 28th thru Sunday, November 1st – more Nov. dates to be determined. Local Appreciation prices to get your season started and don’t forget your mask! Opening details at wolfcreekski.com

Wolf Creek follows hot on the heels of Wild Mountain, MN who opened last Monday, and Mount Norquay Banff, AB who opened on Saturday.

In 2018 Wolf Creek opened on 13th October, and in 2019 on 31st October.

Wolf Creek Ski Area (WCSA) is a ski area in southwest Colorado, located on the Wolf Creek Pass between Pagosa Springs and South Fork. It is best known for receiving more average annual snowfall than any other resort in Colorado, at about 480 inches per year.
