Killington peak at 4,241 feet is Vermont’s second tallest peak and according to the Burlington Free Press is older than the Alps, Himalayas, and Rocky Mountains!

Killington’s story begins in 1763 when Samuel Peters christened the surrounding area “Verd Mont”. Today Killington is home to the top East coast ski resort hosting Audi Women World Cup for the third time since 2016.

Today seems to be an exciting competition as two rivals of Mikaela Shiffrin will also compete:  Petra Vlhova  and the rising New Zealand star Alice Robinson. Alice finished first in Solden 2019, being 0.06s faster than Mikaela.

Alice has just announced yesterday during the press conference that she indeed will compete in today’s race.
