Upper mountains were closed at both Squaw and Alpine today.
We chose Alpine and we were not disappointed.
The terrain off Roundhouse was quality and the snow was deep, plentiful, and dry.
It snowed hard and blew hard all day. ย Hood on all day.
The terrain right under the chair and off Symphony and near the bomb shack was great.
The snow off the “medium” Yellow traverse was deep and stupid. ย The snow kept hitting us in the face out there.
It was an absolutely spectacular day and it’s forecast to just keep coming.
If you’re not in Tahoe, get here.
If you’re in Tahoe, do not leave.
