Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina just saw 20″ of snow today and it’s forecast to keep dumping into tomorrow.
You can ski all the way to the base, which is a rare situation anytime of the year, but especially rare in July.
This new snow is really going to shore up the base and hopefully will make August banger.
“Today was a good day! Face shots and free refills. The snow was a little on the heavy side and varied in depth from mid shin to mid thigh. There was very little wind and unfortunately very little visibility because it was just coming down so hard. The trees near the Del Bosque lift were great and it was fun to have the long run to the base instead of downloading.” – Mike Amaya/Patagonia Ski Tours
