It looks like Northern California will be in the mix again this week, as several storm systems forecasted to impact the state could dump up to 100 INCHES of snow over the next week, reports NWS Sacramento.
Although not as strong or cold as the storms a week or so ago, they will be hanging around longer meaning just as large accumulations of snow.
The heaviest snowfall is expected for Tuesday and Thursday. If you were undecided about where to ski this week, it looks like your mind has just be made for you!
In addition, a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra from Yosemite to Kings Canyon and a Winter Weather Advisory for the Tulare County mountains has been issued. Effective 1 pm Tuesday to 11 pm Wednesday. More rain and snow will follow this initial round and may cause additional travel impacts.
