A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Washington today that is calling for 5-12″ of snow in the lower elevations and 10-17″ of snow at Mt. Baker ski area and Paradise ranger station on Mt. Rainier.

Snow levels are forecast to hold at 3,000-3,500 feet today before dropping a big lower this afternoon and tonight.ย Mt. Baker ski area lives between 3,000 and 5,000 feet.
